New cyclone to bring rain, hail to Armenia

Warm and dry conditions will continue across Armenia on Saturday, with no rainfall expected.

An active cyclone sweeping in from the Black Sea region is set to bring a marked change on Sunday. Thunderstorms with brief showers are forecast throughout the day, with the possibility of hail in some areas and occasional strong winds, Gagik Surenyan, Deputy Director of the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center, reported.

Temperatures are expected to fall by around 4-5C.
