The opposition Wings of Unity party has formally petitioned Armenia’s Central Election Commission (CEC) to annul the results of the June 7 parliamentary elections, citing irregularities.
Party members Liparit Drmeyan and Armen Galstyan announced the move at a press conference on Tuesday, presenting the official application submitted on June 12. The party demands that the CEC declare the vote invalid and organize a repeat election.
The CEC has not yet issued a response to the appeal.
