Pashinyan says conflict with Azerbaijan over

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on Tuesday that Armenia’s long-running conflict with Azerbaijan has come to an end, declaring that peace between the two neighbors is now firmly established.

“2025 was the year when we fully recognized that peace had been achieved — the end of the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan,” Pashinyan told lawmakers in parliament.

He added that Armenia’s June 7 parliamentary elections gave legitimacy to that peace, saying voters reaffirmed the government’s course. “Through the 2026 elections, the people stood by peace,” he said.
