Armenian parliament speaker and fiancée file marriage papers

Armenian National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan and his fiancée, model Anelya Gubryan, have submitted a joint application for the state registration of their marriage.

Simonyan announced the development on his Telegram channel, where he shared a video showing the couple signing the official documents.

“We also submitted an application,” Simonyan wrote on Wednesday.

In the video, the person filming the signing can be heard congratulating the couple and wishing them happiness. Meanwhile, Gubryan said she had made her decision and taken her step forward.

The couple became engaged earlier this year.

This will be Simonyan’s third marriage. He has children from his two previous marriages.

No date for the wedding ceremony has been announced.
