Armenian opposition member presses Pashinyan to confront Aliyev

Aregha Hovsepyan, a member of the opposition Strong Armenia party, on Tuesday called on Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to deliver a direct rebuke to Azerbaijan’s president during a parliament session.

Hovsepyan urged Pashinyan to declare from the rostrum: “Ilham Aliyev, you are lying. Azerbaijanis will never settle in Armenia.”

Hovsepyan’s party finished second in the June 7 parliamentary elections.
