Searches underway at more than 70 locations in case linked to Gagik Tsarukyan

Armenian authorities on Monday carried out simultaneous searches at more than 70 locations as part of over a dozen criminal investigations, the country's Investigative Committee told Panorama.am.

The agency said the searches were being conducted in connection with multiple ongoing criminal proceedings but did not provide further details about the cases.

Earlier reports indicated that searches were carried out at the residence of Prosperous Armenia Party leader Gagik Tsarukyan, as well as nearly all facilities of his Multi Group Concern and the homes of their directors.

According to Iveta Tonoyan, spokesperson for the Prosperous Armenia Party, the raids have effectively halted operations at more than a dozen companies within Multi Group, leaving several thousand employees unable to work.

Searches were also underway at Olympavan, a sports and wellness complex.
