U.S. engineering team visits Armenia to survey TRIPP site

Representatives of U.S. engineering consulting firm AECOM visited Armenia last week to survey the site of the TRIPP project with Armenian government officials as part of planning for rail and other infrastructure, the U.S. Embassy in Yerevan reported on Friday.

"We warmly welcomed the team from U.S. engineering consulting firm AECOM back to Armenia last week," the embassy said in a statement.

"The AECOM team and its Armenian government counterparts surveyed the TRIPP site for rail and other infrastructure development to support economic growth, connectivity, and regional integration," it added.
