Temperatures to rise across Armenia

Temperatures in Armenia will increase by 3–5C from July 11, with Yerevan set for dry weather through July 15. Evening winds may reach 13–15 m/s.

Northern regions can expect brief showers and thunderstorms between July 11–13, before conditions turn dry nationwide on July 14–15. Storm gusts could peak at 18–23 m/s, while foothils of Armavir, Aragatsotn and Kotayk may see winds of 14–18 m/s.

On July 12, the Armenian Apostolic Church celebrates the Feast of the Transfiguration, known as Vardavar. The festival is marked by splashing water, releasing doves, and decorating with flowers, symbols of renewal and joy.

Daytime highs on July 12 are forecast at 36C in Yerevan, 37C in Armavir and Ararat, 24C in Lori, and 27C in Kotayk and Gegharkunik.
