Armenian expert warns of new wave of scams

Cybersecurity specialist Samvel Martirosyan has cautioned the public about a new wave of online fraud schemes circulating in Armenia.

In a social media post on Saturday, Martirosyan said the latest scams include counterfeit notices purporting to be from the country’s Road Police and fraudulent messages disguised as official communications from Haypost, the national postal service.

“A fresh wave of fraud is underway,” Martirosyan wrote, urging citizens to remain vigilant against deceptive messages.
