Six injured, including two minors, in rollover crash in Armenia’s Syunik

Six people, among them two minors, were injured on Sunday morning when a Toyota Camry overturned in Armenia’s southern Syunik Province, Shamshyan.com reported.

The accident occurred at around 9:50 a.m. local time on the Yerevan–Meghri highway near the 172-kilometer mark, when the vehicle driven by 50-year-old Khachik K., a resident of Armavir Province, veered off the road and flipped into a field.

The driver and five passengers, aged 7, 17, 21, 43 and 64, sustained injuries and were transported to Sisian Medical Center.

Patrol officers, community police and investigators from the Syunik regional investigative department responded to the scene. A criminal case has been opened by the Sisian investigative division to determine the circumstances of the crash.
