The Armenian government is set to consider a bill on July 16 to ratify a framework agreement on strategic cooperation with the United States concerning the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project.
The draft law is included on the agenda for the cabinet's July 16 meeting. According to the explanatory note accompanying the bill, the legislation was prepared in accordance with Armenia's law on international treaties to facilitate the ratification of the framework agreement signed in Washington on June 1 and in Yerevan on June 4, 2026.
The proposed legislation would ratify the Framework Agreement between the Republic of Armenia and the United States of America on Strategic Cooperation Concerning the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP).
The explanatory note states that adoption of the law would complete the domestic procedures required for the agreement to enter into force.
According to Armenia's Foreign Ministry, which drafted the bill, the legislation is consistent with the government's 2021-2026 action plan and its priority of expanding relations with the United States across multiple areas.
