Armenia braces for cooler weather as heat subsides

Armenia is experiencing a noticeable cooldown as cold air masses move into the country, lowering daytime temperatures by 4-5C compared to Wednesday, according to Gagik Surenyan, deputy director of the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center.

Surenyan said the hottest areas, including the Syunik valleys, the Ararat Valley and the capital Yerevan, will see daytime highs limited to 33-35C.

No extreme heatwaves are expected over the next 10 days.
