Gagik Tsarukyan brought again to SRC Investigative Department

Armenian police on Friday again escorted businesses and opposition leader Gagik Tsarukyan to the State Revenue Committee’s Investigative Department in handcuffs.

Tsarukyan, the leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party, has been detained on large-scale money laundering and fraud charges. He has rejected the allegations as politically motivated.

Outside the investigative office, dozens of his supporters and public figures gathered to greet him with applause and chants.
