OFFERS MADE TO ARMENIAN SINGER AFTER BBC AWARD

Silva Hakobyan, an 18-years-old Armenian singer, won a BBC award recently in a contest “The next big thing.”
Silva told a press conference today that they learned about the contest from the internet and sent the song without any big expectation. Several days later, organizers announce that her song was among the best 20.

The singer later left for Britain where she was greeted by the Armenian ambassador in Great Britain, Vahe Gabrielyan.
The singer has received a lot of offers after the award but not from local companies. She believes more offers will come after her video recording is released.
