FAMOUS COMPOSER HAS ORDERS ONLY FROM FOREIGN CUSTOMERS

Next year will be fruitful for famous composer Tigran Mansuryan. He will have a premier in Sweden starting January 15, next year to be followed by concerts in four cities. The next big premier is in New York on March 27 and later a big festival will be held in Los Angeles. The international customers satisfied the financial requirements of the composer but imposed their own – like the music to be staged in New York must not be recorded or played in Armenia for two years. Mansuryan does not remember when he has received an offer from local entities. He said the last order was in the era of Soviet Union, mainly for writing music for films.
