ARMENTEL FINED IN THE AMOUNT OF 280 DOLLAR

ArmenTel is fined in the amount of 100,000 Armenian drams ($280), Armenian Economic Protection State Committee issued the decision today. The committee says 27 minute/per minute service does not mention that customers are charged 300 Armenian drams for joining the service. According to committee estimates, 1 minutes costs not 27 but 39.8 Armenian drams because of advanced 300 drams pay.

ArmenTel General Director Oleg Blizniuk said “they do not confuse customers.” In his words, detailed information may be received from a telephone service that is provided to the customers. The company says it will appeal the committee decision.
