19 MUSEUMS RENOVATED SINCE 2002

The roofs of Orbely Brothers Museum-House and European People Brotherhood Museum will be renovated on funds released by the state budget this year, Anahit Galstyan, museum and library department head at the ministry of culture and youth affairs, told Panorama.am.

In her words, a tender was announced and 4 million Armenian drams were allocated to repair the roof of European People Brotherhood Museum. There is no decision on the renovation of the roof of Orbely Brothers Museum-House. Galstyan named several other museums that need renovation, among them Erebuni Museum, Avetik Isahakyan museum-house, Shengavit historical museum. Since 2002, 19 museums have been renovated on funds released by the state budget and Linz Foundation.
