MORE THAN 14,000 APPLICANTS TO TAKE COMMON EXAMS

There will be some 48,860 school graduates throughout the republic this year, Narine Hovanisyan, secondary education department head at the ministry of education and science, said today.

A new system of graduation and common exams were introduced this year. The system will be applicable only for Armenian language and literature subject so far. Some 14,736 students applied for taking common exams. The grade from this type will be considered during entrance exams at higher education establishments.
