DRAFTEES RETURNING FROM ARMY TO TAKE ARMENIAN LANGUAGE EXAMS IN JULY

Some 55,000 school graduates will take Armenian language and literature exams on June 1. Five thousand of them are from last graduation year. Some 40,000 of them will apply to department at higher educational establishments where Armenian language is not competitive. Therefore, they will take “A” type exam. The rest will take “A” and “B” exams together at 50 test centers throughout the republic.

Bagrat Yesayan, deputy minister of education and science, said draftees returning from the army will take Armenian language exams in July. The deputy minister also said common exams will be introduced in natural sciences and mathematics starting next year. Yesayan assured “human factor is at minimum” during the exams, which will guarantee fairness.
