THE GRADUATES CELEBRATE

Today all Armenian schools celebrate the “Senior Prom” (“Last bell”) traditional ceremony. The Minister of Science and Education Levon Mkrtchyan will visit #22 school at Achapnyak district and congratulate graduates and their parents. 48 860 tenth-formers will leave school in case they succeed the finals. The last year gave less graduates - 48 448. The number of graduates from Yerevan schools is 11 384.

The capital administration promised to “strictly concise” the entertainment program for all-school event. This year the all-school “Senior Prom” celebration will start at the “Liberty” (Azatutyan) square at 20:00 as against the past years practice. According to city administration authorities, this celebration will be conclusive. Any additional graduate parties and measures are prohibited by the Mayor until the end of final examinations on 20 of June.
