PARTY LEADER SAYS REGIONAL COUNTRIES COMPETING FOR GEOPOLITICAL STATUS

Khosrov Harutunyan, chairman of Armenian Christian Democratic Party, said Armenia must reconsider its relations with neighboring states. Harutunyan believes regional countries are fiercely competing for their geopolitical status. “Armenia is not in a very good situation in this regard,” Harutunyan said. He said there are isolationist zones in the region naming GUAM or Kars-Akhalkalak railway as such.
