HAIL AND WIND CAUSE DAMAGE

Saturday night hail damaged about fifteen hectares of vegetable crop at the village of Qaraglukh in Vayots Zor region. Heavy rain and hail of the next day caused much damage to fields and fruit gardens of Aznvadzor village of Lory region.

Armenian Rescue Service press office informs that several house roofs of Hatsik village in Shirak region were damaged from strong wind. Some information says electric cables were also broken at the crossroads of V. Sargsyan and Shirakatsi crossroads in the town of Giumry. A resident on Shirakatsi street says his house ''moved'' several meters because of the wind.
