DELEGATION OF ARMENIAN CHURCH TO TAKE PART IN THIRD PAN EUROPEAN ECUMENICAL CONFERENCE

A delegation of the Armenian Apostolic Church will leave for Romania spearheaded by the Responsible Person of Interchurch Relations Archbishop Yeznik Petrosyan to participate in the Third Pan European Ecumenical Conference held in the town of Sibiu. Holy See St. Echmiadzin press services say representatives of Romanian, Bulgarian, Great Britain, France, Germany and Italy dioceses of the Armenian Church are among the delegation.

The conference will host 2100 delegates from 126 European churches and the Conference of Catholic Church Archbishops. This third Pan European Ecumenical conference has issues in its agenda related to interrelations of churches, common disposition of churches in present-day challenges in the public life, reinforcement of spiritual values in the human and family life, dialogue of religions and other issues of church interest.

The Armenian Church representatives will deliver speeches and there a mass will be served under Armenian traditions on September 8.
