YEREVAN AND NITSA TO BECOME SISTER CITIES

Mayor of France’s Nitsa, senator Jak Peira, will pay a visit to Armenia on September 20. It is expected that Yerevan and Nitsa will become sister cities during his visit. Also, a cooperation agreement will be signed between Yerevan State University and Nitsa universities, Armenian foreign ministry press and information department reports.
Currently, “Notebooks from Armenia” exhibition continues in the Theater of Photography and Image of Nitsa. The exhibition will continue until late November. According to the same source, this exhibition will close the series of events of the Year of Armenia in France. The exhibition started on September 13 with the participation of the Armenian ambassador to France and the mayor of Nitsa.
