ST. ECHMIADZIN PUBLISHES “TEACHINGS OF ST. GRIGOR”

''Teachings of St. Grigor,'' the first book in the series of ''Fathers of Armenian Church'' has been published under the blessings of Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin B. The book has been translated into modern Armenia and the notes have been made by Sen Arevshatyan. It was published under the patronage of Armen and Nune Sargsyans.

St. Echmiadzin press services inform that it is a unique theological reading that is prescribed to St. Grigor Lusavorich and with which the Armenia theological thought starts. It has influenced both the theology experts of the time and of future centuries. The study describes and interprets basic principles of Christian belief and teachings in the form of long preaching. A important place is attributed to the denial of pagan beliefs and condemnation of idolatry.
