Education minister congratulates students

“Dear pedagogues and teachers, with great joy, I congratulate you on this teachers’ holiday. On behalf of everybody, I wish you the best of everything and thank you for the work you do,” stated education minister Levon Mkrtchyan in a special communique.

The minister underlined the important role teachers have played throughout Armenian history, often sacrificing themselves for the good of the nation and its education, people, and homeland.

“Our education system is now undergoing serious changes, which leaves all of you with great responsibilities. There are difficulties and problems, of course, but the government is working hard to make sure these issues are solved, and that teachers will have their proper place in society,” Mkrtchyan said, adding that this positive policy towards teachers will continue in the future.
