INTERNATIONAL LINGUISTIC INSTITUTE TO BE CREATED

Today the 13th conference of the CIS member states’ ministers of education was held at the Government House of Receptions. Delegations from Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan participated.

During the conference the ES ministers adopted a resolution on implementing cooperation projects to the end of further development of the educational quality management systems in CIS countries, improving the system of teaching mathematics and natural sciences. The activities of the commission studying the CIS university branches were discussed. The ministers also related to the process of the implementation of the 12th conference’s resolution on creation of the International Linguistic Institute on the basis of the Moscow State Linguistic Institute with participation of the CIS countries.
The discussed issues were included in the minutes signed by the participants, and two resolutions were adopted on reviewing the activities of the CIS countries’ university branches, and on cooperation for developing education quality management systems in the CIS countries.
After completion of the conference, the guests visited Tsitsernakaberd and laid a flower wreath at the Monument to the victims of the Genocide.
