KARAHUNJ OBSERVATORY IS IGNORED

Today Paris Heruny, the head of Radio physics research institute said, “The observatory of the Karahunj is ignored. The government does not pay any attention to our cultural values.”

According to Mr. Heruny the surroundings of the observatory could be used for tourism goals. “I worked out a project and represented it to the Ministry of Culture, but I did not get any response,” said Mr. Heruny. He also added that for conducting his project 2.5mln. Drams are needed.

According to Mr. Heruny if the government pays much attention to the observatory, then it can become the most wonderful sightseeing. In addition to this Mr. Heruny is the author of “The Armenians and Old Armenia” book, which is translated into English, and soon the Russian version will be published.
