RUSSIA TO ERECT A MONUMENT TO VICTIMS OF GENOCIDE

A monument to the victims of the Armenian Genocide is going to be erected in Russia. The author of the design is an artist from Lipei, member of the Union of Designers of Russia, Nikolay Rogatnev.

Armenian “Yerkramas” of Russia reports that the artist has sketched the main Armenian symbols – a praying mother (Motherland) kneeling in front of a cross-stone on the top of Mount Ararat. In the words of the artist, it would be a good idea to erect such a monument not only in Russia but in other countries as well as a reminder that the genocide and fascism should not be ever repeated.
