NEXT YEAR MORE THAT 208 THOUSANDS CITIZENS WILL GET FREE MEDICAL TREATMENTS

Harutun Kushkyan, the minister of health announced in the parliament that the annual increase of the sum disposed to the health ministry is 10-15%. So in 2008 54.6 billion drams will be disposed to the ministry, which is for 24% or 1.5 billion drams higher than 2007. According to the minister the salary of the doctors in first help department will be increased by 10-20% and the final result is 77 thousands drams. In 2008 2.8 billion drams will be spent on getting medicine. Nearly 120 thousands people can get free antidiabetes and antitumor medicine. Nearly 208 thousands people can get medical treatment in state order. 1.8 billion drams will be spent on getting new equipments.
