ARMENIAN GENOCIDE MUSEUM-INSTITUTE DIGITALIZES 6 MANUSCRIPTS

The internet portal of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute was only in English but soon it will be in Armenian, French and Turkish, Arevik Avetisyan, press secretary of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, told Panorama.am. In her words, the institute is engaged in large-scale scientific work. Each year new sources are revealed, new manuscripts and completely unknown photographs are found.

She mentioned that there are a lot of unknown monographs in Armenian and Russian languages, which will be digitalize in near future. The Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) has donated a digitalization equipment to the institute costing 3 million 388 thousand drams.


All the manuscripts of the institute are planned to be digitalized. The press secretary said soon a series of 10 books will be published with new translations.
