MORE INDEPENDENT AND MORE ACTIVE

“We can conclude that those student counsels who work in peace with the administrations of the universities work in logical and systematic way. It does not matter whether they are “Republicans” or joint to another party,” said Edgar Hovhannisyan, the deputy president of the “Republican” party youth branch. According to him the student counsels are great powers to regulate universities’ inner life and in general they can stimulate students' active participation in the social life of the country.

According to Vahe Sargsyan, the head of ARF “Nikol Aghbalyan” union, our student counsels still are not completely structured but they manage to cover educational problems and make some decisions.  “Looking at the international European experience those counsels work apart from the universities, in a quite different building; it gives them more independence and stimulates to raise important questions,” said Sargsyan.
