LIBRARY OF NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF EDUCATION RECEIVES NEW PROFESSIONAL LITERATURE

The National Institute of Education (NIE) of the ministry of education and science (MES) will join the deposit library network of Education Planning International Institute (EPII). NIE will periodically receives publications of the institute. MES public relations department informs that NIE has already received about 50 items of professional books.

EPII operates in Paris and since 1990 it has created a deposit library network taking into consideration the difficulties some countries have in getting professional literature. About 180 libraries in 80 countries receive one copy of the institute publication free of charge. The publications are in different languages – English, French, Russian, Spanish and others.

Since its establishment, the institute has trained about 6000 education experts and specialists. Araik Navoyan, deputy rector on foreign relations of the French University of Armenia and adviser to education minister, takes part in the Advanced Education Program of EPII for the first time ever from Armenia.
