“Edgar Elbakyan” theatre in Praha

‘Apostrophe 2008’ 10th international festival of theatres has started in Praha and“Edgar Elbakyan” theatre (“Arion”) takes part in it.
The head of the theatre Armen Elbakyan gave an interview to the journalist of Panorama.am and said that the organizers of the festival of the theatre included them in the best 10 ones among 70 tendered countries.

To the question what attracted the organizers of the festival, Armen Elbakyan answered:’ I don`t know, I just received a letter that we are in top 10.’ He also said that in these cases the most important things are quality of the game, executive art and added that they perform such plays that are full of today`s problems.
“Arion” theatre will perform ‘Will you dance with me?’ play in ‘Apostrophe 2008’ international festival of theatres, which is based on several plays by William Saroyan.

The festival will continue still 2 July.
The theatre works since 1994. Not having own building it performed in stages of different theatres, but today it works in Puppet-show.
