“GOLDEN APRICOT” WEEK STARTED

“The symbol of the festival is “Crossroad of Civilizations and Cultures” and this is a special cultural event in our lives. It managed to join the representatives of cultures having different religious view points,” said the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan in the opening ceremony of “Golden Apricot” fifth international film festival, yesterday. According to him the cooperation with European and Asian famous film festivals has an important impact on the festival.
The Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan and the Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan were also present at the ceremony.

Remind that 166 films from 65 countries are listed in the competing part of the festival. The festival will finish on July 20.
