Armenia-USA Collaboration new format on education

The principal of Kansas Technical School Richard Hoffman and the head of Manhattan Technical College Robert elderson and vice-president of Kansas regional working class development council Bleck Flanders have visited Yerevan in frames of Kansas-Armenia mutual state cooperation program conducted by the US embassy Mlitary collaboration office.

The guests have met with representatives of RA ministry of Education and Science and the heads of different colleges and institutions.

According to the web-site of RA ministry of Education and Science several questions of mutual interest concerning education and science were discussed during the meeting.

American officials also visited the Handicraft Institution of Gyumri and Technological College of Vanadzor which now conducts new program in frames of TACIS(Technical Assistance for the Commonwealth of Independent States).

As a result of these meetings new format was set up for collaboration in the sphere of education and science, experience exchange programs and establishment of ties between Armenian and American schools.
