ARMENIA ADVANCED IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES, RUSSIAN PRESIDENT SAYS

The President of Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev signified in his interview given to Russian “Новое Время” (New Times) the role of internet in people’s life. He said that internet is the best way to set communication unless another innovation is invented to immerge into our lives and homes. Regarding the perspectives of internet development in Russia, the President said, for example, Armenia is much advanced in this aspect. “Recently I have attended the ceremony of investing WIMAX technologies in Armenia and to tell the truth I felt a little jealous as that small country is perfectly covered by internet service connection. They have covered nearly every corner,” said Mr. Medvedev.
