Government of Armenia takes unprecedented decision

During today’s parliamentary hearings in his report over the budget 2008 execution, RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan declared about an unprecedented decision the authorities have taken because of the global crisis.

“Upon the directive of the President of the Republic we have taken an unprecedented decision with the view of promoting the development of small and medium-sized businesses and creating a favorable atmosphere for tax administration,’’ the Prime Minister said.

According to Tigran Sargsyan, the suspension of inspections carried out by 22 bodies under crisis, will create a more favorable atmosphere for the development of small and medium-sized businesses.
“We realize well that the measures taken are not enough for solving all the problems we face,” Tigran Sargsyan said.
