NKR President discusses development of tourism in the republic

On 15 June President of the Nagorno Karabagh Republic Bako Sahakyan convoked a working consultation on the development of tourism in the republic, the central information department of the NKR President’s Office says.

Head of the tourism department under the NKR Cabinet of Ministers Sergei Shahverdyan delivered a report. Thorough discussions followed the report.

The President signified the development of tourism in our country, calling it one of the strategically important directions. The Head of the State commissioned to elaborate and present a tourism development program, which would encompass a comprehensive and well-grounded assessment of the current situation in the sphere as well as prospects of its development.
