Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan had a meeting with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in Golden Palace Hotel Wednesday.
According to the PR department of the government, the parties signified historical amity between the two nations, the relations established between Yerevan and Damascus and the perspectives for their development.
T. Sargsyan said, the Armenian-Syrian intergovernmental committee faces significant steps to be taken toward the enhancement of trade-economic relations and the implementation of joint programs in the sphere of economy. The PM highlighted that the Armenian-Syrian business forum will contribute to intensification of business contacts.
