CONCERT DEDICATED TO FAMOUS ARMENIAN COMPOSERS

On June 26, in Aram Khachatryan Concert Hall, a concert dedicated to the anniversaries of famous Armenian composers Tigran Mansuryan and Avet Terteryan will take place, Gayane Durgaryan, the head of public relations department of the Culture Ministry.

According to the source during the concert the composers’ works will be performed, in particular, Tigran Mansuryan’s “Viola Concert 2” and Avet Terteryan’s memory will be honored by his 5th symphony.

Modern composer Ashot Zohrabyan’s “A Dedication to Metsarents” composition will be also performed. Anya Lekhner, a musician from Germany, will participate at the concert as a soloist; will be accompanied by Armenian State Philharmonic Orchestra headed by German conductor Pier-Dominik Ponel.
