INDEX OF TRADE CIRCULATION TO BE GROWING

The cooperation in trade field between Armenia and Syria is announced to be weak. Currently bilateral communications is held to reinforce that cooperation, Levon Zaki, the co-chair of the conference on fifth sitting of inter-governmental committee on economic, industrial and scientific research cooperation between Armenia and Syria told reporters.

The co-chair says cooperation in trade field supposes cooperation in importing and exporting, as well as cooperation in banking system and organization of scientific conferences.

“Once the cooperation in trade field was weak, but currently measures are taken to reinforce that cooperation in a wider spectrum. If once the volume in trade formed $6mln, currently we work hard to increase that index,” the co-chair said.

Syria is more interested in trade field and plans to make the trade of Syrian businessmen in Armenia brisk, declared co-chair.
