RUSSIAN SCHOOL CLOSED BECAUSE OF SWINE FLU

A school in Murmans, Russian Federation, has been closed after 17 schoolchildren are believed to be infected with swine flu, Russian media reports. Totally, 484 children study at school.

It is said that 16 schoolchildren got infected from their schoolmate who has just been back from Turkey. Doctors say the children now feel quite well.

World Health Organization reports the number of people infected with the current pandemic is about 308 thousand.
