CHAIRMAN OF HUNGARY’S COMPETITION AUTHORITY ARRIVES IN YEREVAN

Chairman of the Armenian State Committee for Economic Competition Protection Ashot Shahnazaryan received Neld Zoltan, the chairman of the Hungarian Competition Authority and Beleni Andrea, the Secretary General of the Authority.

Hungary’s Competition Authority, jointly with the EU, is holding regular trainings for the specialists of the Armenian State Committee for Economic Competition Protection, for which the Committee chairman A. Shahnazaryan thanked his counterpart, the committee’s press secretary reported.

Mr. N. Zoltan suggested expanding the training courses. As it came to be evident during the talk of the Armenian and Hungarian officials, problems of the same kind, like difficulties in making monetary resources available for small businesses, etc., exist in both countries in the sphere of competition protection.

The parties exchanged their experience in the regulation of competition and agreed over signing an agreement for a more efficient bilateral cooperation.
