Russia to reduce gas price to $180

Starting from April 1, 2010, gas price for a thousand cubic meters supplied to Armenia by Russia will be $180 instead of $200, “ArmRusGasProm” Executive manager Karen Karapetyan told reporters today.

“Today we are holding talks with “Gasprom”. According to the preliminary agreement reached, starting from April 1, 2010, gas price for a thousand cubic meters supplied to Armenia by Russia will be $180 instead of $200. The talks are still under way but we are working out a development strategy to have it $180,” Karapetyan said.
