Birth rate in Armenia is not satisfactory and it is not even half of data recorded in the late of 80th, etnographist Ruben Yeganyan told at news conference.
Since 2002 Yeganyan says birth rate growing has been recorded but it’s not enough. But he said that if in 1986 81.200 children were born, in 2002 only 32thousand.
Yeganyan says even if the state develops in a very progressive manner, it’s difficult to avoid decrease of population.
