Whether fragile group of the society protected from boost of medicament prices?

A month ago people were protesting against the action of raising medicine prices. The importers of the medicament say the boost of prices is conditioned by foreign currency’s growing.

Currently we’re interested in whether socially fragile layer of the society is protected from this “objective” reason of boosting prices of medicament.

With slight survey over the medicament market, it turns out that medicine which cost 350 AMD once now cost 700 AMD. In this regard we asked Armenian Ministry of Health, to find out if the fragile layer of our society is defended by our government.
Medicament department of the Health Ministry reports that some group of the society is separated, which can get medicament from a certain list defined by the ministry free of charge. The situation turns to be tough as people from this fragile group, who need “Analgin” or “Askofen” can’t get them, as they are not listed in the official paper of medicament of free of charge.
