President Sargsyan, "Rosatom" manager discuss Armenian-Russian atomic energy cooperation

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received Russia’s “Rosatom” state corporation General Manager Sergey Kirienko.
Issues over the Armenian-Russian atomic energy cooperation have been discussed at the meeting, President’s press office said.
The parties highlighted the agreements reached during the meeting in Yerevan, in September, 2008 are at the stage of implementation.

Serzh Sargsyan expressed satisfaction over Armenian-Russian high-level relations.

The parties highly evaluated the level of atomic energy collaboration and the implementation of the programs towards its development and expressed conviction the current programs will enable Armenia to reinforce its role as an energy-exporting country.

Rosatom manager said, the Armenian Atomic Power Station is in an excellent state, with all the terms for its secure, reliable exploitation.
