“Border” wins “Best Film” prize in Antalia “Golden Orange” 46th Film Festival
The film “Border” by Armenian director Harutyun Khachatryan won “Best Film” prize in “Golden Orange” 46th Film Festival in Antalia, “Golden Apricot” Yerevan Film Festival coordinator on artistic issues Susanna Harutyunyan told Panorama.am.
According to her, the film shared the prize with a Russian film in the international competition among 12 films running. “Other Coast” by Georgian director Georgi Ovashvili won the second prize.
“Border” won Platine Award in Houston 42nd Festival, Best Full-length Documentary at Sirakuza International Festival, Best Picture Award in “Cinemashock” 18th festival.
“Border” tells about a buffalo crossing the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. The film premier in Yerevan was on July 15. The film has been nominated in Romania, Hamburg, Batumi, Warsaw, Pusan, Tokio festivals.
