Armenian PM says EU experts approved digitalizing system

The Government of Armenia approved the agenda of digitalizing radio/TV broadcasting, Government’s PR department reports. The committee dealing with current issue has been appointed to prepare a procedure for submitting to the Government covering the agenda of the public discussions.

The Radio/TV broadcasting filed needs new technologies to be advanced; hence the objective of the project is to provide free competition to have developed local market.

“They are defined by those significances and responsibilities put for Armenia. We have started a process to pass to digital and technically well prepared process,” Armenian PM said.

Armenian PM said that the EU experts have hailed and approved Government’s approaches and the procedure.
